Amazing South Africa

Why everyone should visit South Africa at least once in their life!

I have been to a lot of beautiful places in my lifetime, but there is something exceptional about South Africa. The world had a glimpse of Cape Town's remarkable beauty when they hosted the World Cup, but seeing something on television versus experiencing in real life paled in comparison.

From the moment you arrive in colorful Cape Town you have a feeling like you in someplace truly special.

One of the most breathtaking parts of South Africa is the wine region. Not only is it scenic, but the wines are some of the best in the world.

One of the highlights of my trip was seeing these little fellas...

...Oh and of course, there's the safari!!!!

There's a saying that people don't take trips, trips take people...and I can say that I am humbled by my experience is South Africa. Being so close to nature makes you realize there are things bigger than you in this world.

It also made me curious to see what other adventures are out there. So, until our paths meet again, I will always think of you fondly, South Africa.

Your photos are marvellous!

My parents came from the Cape to England in 1947/8. I made a long visit to the Cape in 2003 to make contact with relatives and to see the places where my ancestors began their lives in the Cape during the 19th century.

We travelled a great deal, and were constantly amazed by the country's beauty and the friendliness of everyone we met.

What an exceptional trip that must have been for you. I too was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the country and the warmth of the people. I plan on returning in a couple of years and hopefully extending my trip.
