A Week in the Charming Playa Del Carmen

It'd been a while since I went on vacation, so I decided to travel to someplace that I could either do everything or nothing. I chose the previous. My daily routine, like most, is very sedentary and monotonous. Which is why when I vacation, I like to vacation like I mean it! I decided to visit Playa Del Carmen after seeing photos of Tulum on social media. As soon as I arrived, it was apparent that I made the right choice.
There's something special about the Yucatan Peninsula. From the culture, the people, and the delicious food, Playa del Carmen is a destination to be savored. I have traveled to many places, but here, I felt at peace. Maybe it was the music of the birds singing to me every morning, the sound of the ocean kissing the shore or the fact that I was thousands of mile away from my daily responsibilities, but I decided to challenge myself to appreciate every minute of my vacation, and you know what, that's exactly what I did!
The fun didn't stop in Playa Del Carmen! I also made sure to visit the archeological sites of Tulum, Ek-Balam and Chichen Itza. I wasn't brave enough for Coba this trip, but I shall return! Currently, Coba and Ek-Balam are the only sites you can climb and that may end soon, so plan your trip sooner rather than later.
There are an array of activities easily accessible from Playa Del Carmen if you're up for the adventure!
Only a thirty minute ferry ride and you're in Cozumel!
You can choose to do everything or you can stay local. There is plenty to do in town.
Eat, drink and be merry!!!
If you're looking to add some spice in your life (picante!), stop what you're doing, and head to Playa Del Carmen!!
